Baseball Recap: Eagle Valley Devils vs. Battle Mountain Huskies
Eagle Valley extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 7-12 in the process. They fell 8-4 to the Battle Mountain Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 on Tuesday.
Eagle Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Rozga, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another was James Bivins, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.
As for Battle Mountain, they pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games.
