Norfolk typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Papillion-LaVista proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The Monarchs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Papillion-LaVista never let Norfolk on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-20.

Papillion-LaVista's offense was headlined by Logan Hickey and Faith Wiechman, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Drew Schnabel and her 16 assists. Violet Woehler controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Papillion-LaVista's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Norfolk, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.
