Tri-County is 8-2 against Frontier since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tri-County Cavaliers will face off against the Frontier Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Tri-County is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Clinton Central: they outscored them in every quarter. Tri-County blew past Clinton Central 51-27 on Saturday. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Tri-County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Clayton Atkinson, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trey Foster, who posted nine points.

Tri-County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Frontier had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vikings 60-23.

Frontier's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Tri-County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Tri-County against Frontier when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as the team secured a 66-37 win. Does Tri-County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Frontier turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
