Volleyball Recap: Pasadena Memorial Comes Up Short

Pasadena Memorial extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 4-8. They lost 3-0 to the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mavericks have suffered since October 18, 2024.

Addie Dinsdale paced Pasadena Memorial's offense, picking up eight kills. Dinsdale were helped by Savannah Lott and Kenzie Fernandez, who contributed eight assists each. Lesley Lopez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Lutheran South Academy, their record now sits at 9-1. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Pasadena Memorial: they've now won three in a row.

Lutheran South Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Charlie Marsico out in front who had eight digs and three assists. Lily Chuoke also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Pasadena Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Brazoswood on the 23rd. As for Lutheran South Academy, they will head out on the road to take on St. Agnes Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
