Lamar won the last time they faced Westside and things went their way on Friday too. The Texans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Texans.

Lamar walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 25-15.

Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Westside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lamar is set to square off against their familiar foe Cesar E. Chavez at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Westside will face off against rival Bellaire at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
