Joaquin lost to Union Grove on Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Rams blew past the Lions 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Joaquin is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Union Grove, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-11-1.

Joaquin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
