Overton falls despite big games from William Carter and Wesley Howard

Recap: Overton Bobcats vs. Hillsboro Burros

After flying high against the McGavock Raiders last Wednesday, the Overton Bobcats came back down to earth. Overton was the victim of a tough 68-44 loss at the hands of Hillsboro on Friday. While losing is never fun, Overton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Hillsboro is ranked 16th).

Overton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Wesley Howard, who scored nine points, and William Carter who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jehmel Madison, who scored six points.
