Preview: Frederica Academy vs. Terrell Academy Eagles
After each having a week off, Frederica Academy and the Terrell Academy Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th. Terrell Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Frederica Academy, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Frederica Academy on the road against St. Andrew's as the team secured a 49-13 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Frederica Academy just coasted through the last quarter.
Jordan Triplett continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 298 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. Triplett was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards. Rico Holmes was another key contributor, picking up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Terrell Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 34-14 walloping at the hands of Tiftarea Academy.
Quindon Wright put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 98 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Frederica Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5. As for Terrell Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
