After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbiana, Jackson-Milton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Waterloo Vikings. The Bluejays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-18.

Peyton Ford paced Jackson-Milton's offense, picking up eight kills. Ford got some help from Emma Johns and her 25 assists. Finally, Ford was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Jackson-Milton's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Waterloo, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jackson-Milton is set to take on their familiar foe Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Waterloo will face off against rival Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
