Baseball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson dropped their record down to 17-7 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They came up short against the Eastlake Wolves, falling 14-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Timberwolves have suffered since March 22nd.

As for Eastlake, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-8. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Eastlake's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Jayden Matsuoka was another, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

As of now, neither Jackson nor Eastlake have any future games scheduled.
