Baseball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Thunderbirds on Thursday. North Central came up short against Eastern Greene, falling 15-2. North Central has struggled against Eastern Greene recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

North Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan Cox, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Eastern Greene, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

North Central has already played their next game, a 9-6 win against Bloomfield on the 5th. As for Eastern Greene, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 22-4 victory against Dugger Union on the 2nd.
