After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kingwood Park, Crosby was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Pasadena Eagles. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.
Crosby was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-102), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-19, 24-26, 26-24, 15-13.
