Mattoon won the last time they faced Charleston and things went their way on Friday too. The Mattoon Greenwave walked away with a 53-45 win over the Charleston Trojans.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Oakley, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Luke Bonnstetter was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Mattoon's victory bumped their record up to 9-21. As for Charleston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season.

As of now, neither Mattoon nor Charleston have any future games scheduled.
