Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Franklin

Franklin had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Foxborough Warriors 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Franklin took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-11.

Emerson Delleo paced Franklin's offense, picking up ten kills. Delleo got some help from Phoebe O'Connor and her 19 assists. O'Connor was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Foxborough, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin is set to take on their familiar foe Taunton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Foxborough will challenge rival Oliver Ames at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
