Desert Christian skates past Valley Union with ease

The Desert Christian Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season. They breezed by Valley Union on the road to the tune of 77-33. With Desert Christian ahead 45-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Desert Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyson Dobbins led the charge by scoring 21 points. The contest was Dobbins' eighth in a row with at least ten points. Jonathan Brown was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Desert Christian and bumps their season record up to 10-3. As for Valley Union, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Desert Christian and Tuba City will round out the year against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Tuba City is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Valley Union will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Apache Junction at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
