Uintah is 9-1 against Stansbury since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Uintah Utes will look to defend their home court against the Stansbury Stallions at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Uintah came up short against Payson on Friday, falling 54-29. The defeat continues a trend for the Utes in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Stansbury ended up a good deal behind Jordan on Friday and lost 50-36.

Loss or not, Stansbury got some senior leadership from Halley McGee and Addi Hansen. McGee went 6 of 12 on her way to 18 points, while Hansen posted eight points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Hansen a new career-high in assists (three).

Stansbury's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Uintah, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Uintah couldn't quite finish off Stansbury when the teams last played back in February of 2023 and fell 44-42. Can Uintah avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
