Volleyball Recap: Yelm Tornados vs. Spanaway Lake Sentinels
Yelm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Spanaway Lake Sentinels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornados of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Spanaway Lake scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21.
Despite the loss, Yelm still got an impressive performance from Rylee Hominda, who had 20 assists and 12 digs.
