Football Recap: Anaconda Skates Past Thompson Falls with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anaconda). They really took it to the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-14 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-6.

Anaconda found their leader in sophomore Xander Galle, who made ten total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Special teams played a big role in the game for Anaconda, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Ryder Anderson, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Anaconda didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Anderson and Carson Lacey. Another thorn in Thompson Falls' side was Galle, who made ten total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Although Thompson Falls took the loss, they still got scores from Hank Stone and Mason Park.

The victory (which was Anaconda's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points over those games. As for Thompson Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
