Soccer Recap: Salesian Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Salesian's offense. They fell just short of the Bell Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Eagles are ranked 366th).

This is the second loss in a row for Salesian and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1. As for Bell, the win keeps them at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Salesian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Santa Barbara on the 6th. Bell has also already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Roosevelt on the 6th.
