Soccer Recap: Dutch Fork Takes a Loss

Dutch Fork came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-0 to the Chapin Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Silver Foxes of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Dutch Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Chapin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dutch Fork will head out to take on White Knoll at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dutch Fork has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Chapin, they will head out on the road to challenge Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chapin has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 16 goals over their last three matchups.
