Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Roosevelt's offense. They came up short against the Poudre Impalas on Wednesday, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Roughriders were not able to get on the board.

Roosevelt's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3. As for Poudre, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Roosevelt will challenge Berthoud at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Poudre, they will take on Thompson Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Impalas will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
