Baseball Recap: Henry County Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Henry County had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the West Creek Coyote. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Henry County got a great performance from Jack Todd as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts Todd has posted over his last five matchups.

At the plate, Henry County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremiah Townsend, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Henry County pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for West Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Henry County will have a chance to go back-to-back against West Creek: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
