Volleyball Recap: Paradise Honors Panthers vs. Eastmark Firebirds
If Paradise Honors was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lee Williams last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paradise Honors Panthers fell just short of the Eastmark Firebirds by a score of 3-2 on Friday.
Paradise Honors wouldn't go down easily and took Eastmark into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 15-10.
Eastmark was led to victory by Aiden Brown and Noah Lytle. Brown had seven digs and five aces, while Lytle had 12 digs, three aces, and one block. Lytle is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 20 or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Paradise Honors now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eastmark, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
