OLIVIA PATTERSON paced St. Joseph's Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. PATTERSON got some help from EMI REESE HAND and her 26 assists. AMELIA GIBEAU controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Blythewood lost, don't look at Grace Campbell. Despite the final result, she had seven digs and three aces. Campbell has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

St. Joseph's Catholic's win bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Blythewood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
