Recap: San Tan Foothills Sabercats vs. Casa Grande Cougars
On Friday, San Tan Foothills came up short against Casa Grande and fell 54-42.
Despite the loss, San Tan Foothills had strong showings from Cienna Witcher, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals, and Aj Williams, who scored 19 points. Williams scored a full 45.2% of San Tan Foothills' points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
San Tan Foothills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Casa Grande, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
San Tan Foothills will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against San Miguel at 5:30 p.m. on November 28th. As for Casa Grande, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Desert Mountain at 7:00 p.m.
