Softball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 12-7 to the Hendersonville Commandos. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Commandos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Hendersonville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Centennial will head out to face off against Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hendersonville, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 10:30 a.m. The Commandos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season.
