Basketball Recap: Southwestern Skates Past Black Hawk with Ease

Southwestern won the last time they faced Black Hawk and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Southwestern Wildcats took their contest with ease, bagging a 69-23 win over the Black Hawk Warriors. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Warriors are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Southwestern, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.8 points. As for Black Hawk, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

As for Black Hawk, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Argyle at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Argyle has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
