Crescent proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Quilcene Rangers 3-2. The Loggers haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Crescent took Quilcene into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-22, 23-25, 15-25, 15-7.

Crescent's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Quilcene, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Crescent will host Concrete at 3:45 p.m. on the 20th. As for Quilcene, they will be playing at home against Mary M. Knight at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
