Baseball Game Preview: Providence Christian Eagles vs. Rehobeth Rebels

The Providence Christian Eagles will challenge the Rehobeth Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Providence Christian has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Providence Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Pike Liberal Arts by a score of 10-9 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Meanwhile, Rehobeth unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Headland by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rebels have suffered since February 14th.

Providence Christian dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.67 runs. As for Rehobeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
