Baseball Recap: DeSoto County Bulldogs vs. Frostproof Bulldogs
DeSoto County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Frostproof. DeSoto County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Frostproof apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Abel Nedley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, DeSoto County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Adkins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
