The Braden River Pirates will head out to take on the Manatee Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Braden River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.8 points per game this season.

Manatee will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Braden River extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Pirates strolled past Lakewood Ranch with points to spare, taking the game 54-36.

Anquan Polynice continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 14 points and five assists. Quentin Smith was another key player, posting six points and eight rebounds.

Braden River smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Manatee hadn't beaten Palmetto on the road since January 21, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Hurricanes snuck past the Tigers with a 66-61 victory.

Braden River's record is now 4-2. As for Manatee, their record now sits at 3-4.

Braden River beat Manatee 62-51 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
