Baseball Recap: Egg Harbor Township Takes a Loss

Egg Harbor Township lost against Hammonton last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 9-8. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dylan Salsbery made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Egg Harbor Township's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hammonton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Egg Harbor Township will host Bridgewater-Raritan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hammonton, they are taking a road trip to square off against Oakcrest at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
