If El Dorado beats Argonaut with four goals on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. El Dorado blew past Union Mine 4-1 on Friday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

El Dorado hit Union Mine with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jack Tillman, Hayden Ozenne, Jesus Morales, and Esteban Rios-Figueroa.

Meanwhile, Argonaut fell victim to Amador and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 7-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Argonaut's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for El Dorado, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

Everything went El Dorado's way against Argonaut in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as El Dorado made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for El Dorado since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
