Windsor Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Heath Woodard out in front who threw for 409 yards and six TDs while completing 77.4% of his passes. Those six passing touchdowns gave Woodard a new career-high. Windsor Academy's leading receiver Santiago Medina was Woodard's top target yet again, picking up 143 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 58 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Augusta Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-8 win over Thomas Jefferson Academy on Friday.

Augusta Prep's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Windsor Academy, their record is now 3-7.

Windsor Academy came up short against Augusta Prep in their previous matchup back in August, falling 22-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Cavaliers' Austin Luke, who rushed for 133 yards and one TD while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
