            The Morgantown Mohigans will venture away from home to  take on the St. Albans Red Dragons  at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday. Morgantown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9  runs per game  this season.
Morgantown made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cabell Midland, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Morgantown put the hurt on Cabell Midland with a sharp  13-5 win on Thursday. The Mohigans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.

Morgantown got a  massive  performance out of  Mason Bowers, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  three  runs gave  Bowers a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Vincent Aloi, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Bowers wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Morgantown  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits every time they've taken the field this season.
 Meanwhile, St. Albans put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Wheeling Park get on the board and left with  a   6-0  victory. Fans of the Red Dragons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.
 Morgantown's record now sits at 3-1. As for St. Albans, their record now sits at 3-0.
