Soccer Recap: Mountain Heritage Takes a Loss

If Mountain Heritage was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Mitchell on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the Madison Patriots on Wednesday, falling 7-1. The matchup was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Mountain Heritage it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Kai'ana Stella, who's now up to 13 this season.

Mountain Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-3. As for Madison, they pushed their record up to 10-4-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mountain Heritage will square off against Pisgah at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will welcome Owen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
