Baseball Recap: Twinsburg Tigers vs. Solon Comets
Twinsburg won the last time they faced Solon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Comets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Twinsburg got a great performance from Owen Shinada as he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Shinada has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Twinsburg let JD Okuma and Jason Cox run wild.
