Volleyball Recap: Fort Morgan Beats Valley for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Fort Morgan entered their tilt with Valley on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The win didn't come easy: Valley scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Morgan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nadalie Ramos, who had 20 digs. Ramos is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Sailsbery, who had 15 digs and two aces.

Fort Morgan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why Valley lost, don't look at Laurissa Richards. Despite the final result, she had 26 digs and seven assists.

Fort Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
