Soccer Recap: Emerald Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Emerald after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Laurens Raiders by a score of 2-1. Emerald have struggled against Laurens recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Emerald's goal came courtesy of Caiden Hedrick, who's now up to two this season.

Emerald's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Laurens, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
