Grassfield proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by five) and  on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Western Branch Bruins  a   1-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Grassfield sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of  Kristo Litchmore, who's now up to three this season.
Grassfield's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-2-2. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero  goals over those four  games. As for Western Branch, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grassfield will challenge Oscar Smith at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Oscar Smith will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Grassfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Western Branch, they will host King's Fork  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
