Andrews lost against Robbinsville back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Black Knights by a score of 3-2. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Andrews took Robbinsville into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-17, 25-9, 21-25, 15-9.

Juliet Holloway paced Andrews' offense, picking up 27 kills. Holloway got some help from Drea Cutshaw and her 19 assists. Cutshaw also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Chanteah Rattler, racking up two apiece.

Andrews' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Robbinsville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Andrews didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Blue Ridge Early College on the 2nd. As for Robbinsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hiwassee Dam on the 2nd.
