Basketball Game Preview: Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes vs. Berkley Bears

The Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes are taking a road trip to square off against the Berkley Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cranbrook Kingswood took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 48-47 victory over Sterling Heights.

Meanwhile, Berkley earned a 56-46 win over Madison on Wednesday. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Berkley's win came from a few key players Cranbrook Kingswood will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Evan Haenick, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 14 points and six rebounds. Jacob Friedman was another key player, putting up 12 points and three blocks.

Berkley picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-16. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
