Basketball Game Preview: Clarion Area Bobcats vs. Redbank Valley Bulldogs

The Clarion Area Bobcats will square off against the Redbank Valley Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Clarion Area and Keystone, and Clarion Area kept the tradition alive. Clarion Area secured a 53-48 W over Keystone on Wednesday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Redbank Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They blew past the Lions 55-29. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Redbank Valley pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Clarion Area, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.
