Basketball Recap: Davenport North Skates Past Geneseo with Ease

Davenport North won the last time they faced Geneseo and things went their way on Saturday too. The Davenport North Wildcats blew past the Geneseo Maple Leafs 67-23. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Davenport North and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Geneseo, their defeat was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Davenport North will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pleasant Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Geneseo and Annawan will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
