Basketball Recap: Stearns Triumphs

Stearns won the last time they faced Lee Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Stearns Minutemen walked away with a 47-36 victory over the Lee Academy Pandas.

The win got Stearns back to even at 9-9. As for Lee Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

The future could be bright for both Stearns and Lee Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Stearns will look to extend Piscataquis' seven-game losing streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lee Academy will try to hand East Grand their 14th-straight defeat when the two meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
