Soccer Recap: Horse Creek Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Horse Creek Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stallions of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Braylon Wendt, which was the first he's scored this season.

Horse Creek Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Horse Creek Academy has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Silver Bluff on the 13th. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Mead Hall Episcopal School on the 13th.
