Belleview's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the St. John Lutheran Saints 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Rattlers in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won five in a row.

Belleview's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gilbehert Mendoza, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That's the most hits Mendoza has posted since back in March of 2025.

Belleview now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. John Lutheran, the defeat was their first on the road, dropping their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belleview will take on Gainesville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Rattlers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for St. John Lutheran, they will square off against Bronson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
