Volleyball Recap: Comstock Park Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Comstock Park had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Big Rapids Cardinals by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Comstock Park took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 16-25, 20-25, 25-17, 15-8.

Coming up, Comstock Park is taking a road trip to take on Reed City at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Big Rapids, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cedar Springs at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
