Football Recap: Liverpool Comes Up Short

Liverpool came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 26-6 to the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 39-6.

Liverpool's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2-1. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4-2.

Coincidentally, Liverpool and Fayetteville-Manlius will both be playing Syracuse the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
