Northwest Classen waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 55-51 W against the Bartlesville Bruins. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Bruins are ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Northwest Classen back to even at 10-10. As for Bartlesville, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest Classen will welcome Charles Page at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Charles Page knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Northwest Classen likes a good challenge. As for Bartlesville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Broken Arrow at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
